The poem I am working on is called The Hummingbird by John Bannister Tabb. This is how it goes… A flash of harmless lightning, A mist of rainbow dyes, The burnished sunbeams brightening, From flower to flower he flys… isn’t that cool and it is the shortest one I could choose .

Have you ever seen the Erie canal? I have, I always have, my parents work at the Erie canal. I watch them load and unload the gigantic barges. I have to stay away from the stinky, dusty towpath because. I could get trampled by the strong, muscular mules. I live very close to the tow path. Some times working on the canal, In my opinion it is a very dangerous job. I ride a ferry boat to the busting school. My house is bright and cheery, I sometimes to stay in it, When it floods.
